SINGAPORE conglomerate Wywy Group is selling its portfolio of nine villas at Oei Tiong Ham Park Residences with a guide price of between S$8 million and S$13 million per unit, or about S$100 million collectively, said appointed marketing agent CBRE on Thursday.

The freehold luxury development comprises three three-storey-plus-rooftop blocks, with an apartment occupying each storey.

Ranging from 3,401 square feet (sq ft) to 5,888 sq ft, the four or five-bedroom units are priced at about S$2,500 per sq ft.

According to CBRE, Wywy decided to sell the property after observing strong demand for large apartments in the market.

Linda Chern, head of residential services at CBRE, said: "Wywy Group has been constantly approached by either agents or clients directly for a while now. Given the current market sentiments and Singapore's positive outlook, the company felt that it was the right time."

Each villa also comes with two dedicated parking lots, its own swimming pool, private lift and garden.

"Oei Tiong Ham Park Residences presents a rare opportunity for UHNWIs (ultra-high-net-worth individuals) and investors to acquire a unique freehold property in one of Singapore's prime GCB (Good Class Bungalow) areas.

"As foreigners cannot readily purchase landed properties in Singapore, this residential development provides them with an exception. With borders reopening and more foreign UHNWIs bringing their funds here, we expect keen demand for such luxury apartments, as Singapore is well known to be a stable investment destination."

Located at 29 Oei Tiong Ham Park, the property is a five-minute walk to Holland Village MRT and a ten-minute drive to Botanic Gardens.

Schools in its vicinity include Methodist Girls' School, National Junior College, Hwa Chong Institution, United World College and Anglo Chinese School (Independent).
