I'm thinking of becoming a property agent. However, I don't have the full details of the commissions, and the like...

    Most agency require you to attend their training. Course fees varies with different agency.

    1.Generally 1% if open listing (ie seller listed with many agents/agency) and 2% if exclusive. Having said that, undercutting happens
    2. Seller pays 2% and buyer pays 1%. Again undercutting happens
    3. Applies to new & old,except for new HDB of course. Sometimes developers offer lower or higher rates.
    4. If HDB you get the 1%, if pte depends on whether you got the seller or you co broke.
    5. rental 1mth for a 2 yr lease, half month for 1 yr lease. Cobroke-share com, rate to be agreed upon
    6. your agency will take a cut from the comm. the amt depends on agency and also your rank there.
